A Few Pictures of My Spring Break Trip

For the first time in my life I was able to go on a spring break trip. It was a lot of fun to figure out where we were going, but a lot of work to put the whole trip together. In the end, Greta, Adrian, and I ended up going to London for a day, then off to Milan, Italy for a day, followed by four days in Rome, and then a 48hr continuous trip back home. It was a lot of fun, and it was amazing to see all of the sites, but we were definitely spent and ready to be back at home by the end of it. Below are a few pictures and information of what we did and saw.

Me by the Colleseum at night on our first night in Rome.

Hey Look Kids, Big Ben.....Parliament!

We knew we only had one day to spend in London, and knew there was a great deal to see, so we sped through the entire town using the tube. Big Ben and Parliament were one of the first places we stopped off at. It was as if we were in a movie seeing all of these famous sights I thought I'd never see. I don't think it has still set in how lucky I am to be traveling around.

London Bridge...definitely not falling down

We stopped by the London Bridge on our little jaunt around town. Here Greta, Adrian, and Megan (a friend from Luther who is studying in Knottingham, England for the whole year) who was our tour guide for the day, stop for a little picturesque moment. Too bad the weather didn't cooperate with us all that much. I think we got poured on in ever city. We still had a great time and made the most of it.

Drenched at Buckingham Palace

The heavens opened up on us when we were in front of Buckingham Palace. There was no where to hide under, so we just bit the bullet and had fun playing in the rain. People driving by gave us some weird looks, but oh well.
